- Title
A wider audience for anthropology? Political dimensions of an important debate.
- Authors
Pelkmans, Mathijs
- Abstract
The author addresses the political dimensions of important debate on anthropology issues. He agrees that anthropology has the potential to add sense to senseless discussions, as well as demonstrate the limitations of universal truths. He endorses the view that anthropologists should not avoid but seek having a public voice. He also reflects on the related topic of impact which has become pressing in the British academia.
