- Abstract
This article provides an overview of amateur observations of Jupiter from August 2022 to November 2023. It discusses the fading and revival of the North Equatorial Belt (NEB) and the gradual fading of the North Temperate Belt (NTB), potentially leading to a significant upheaval in 2024 or 2025. The South Equatorial Belt (SEB) remained stable, with the Great Red Spot (GRS) surrounded by a dark collar and occasionally disturbed by rings. The article also mentions various observations such as bright rifts, waves, and dark spots on Jupiter's surface, as well as the stability of certain sectors and the presence of anticyclonic ovals in different domains. It also highlights the tracking of spots in the high northern domains, the occurrence of impact flashes, and the transit of satellites in front of their shadows.
