- Abstract
The cover picture shows a representation of photocatalytic hydrogen production from water using a new homogeneous composition. The figure illustrates the absorption of visible light by a chromophore followed by electron transfer processes that lead to the reduction of protons into hydrogen gas. The mechanistic details of an optimized system composed of a ruthenium(II) tris‐bathophenanthroline chromophore, N,N‐dimethyl‐p‐toluidine electron donor, and a Co‐based molecular catalyst are reported.
