- Abstract
The article offers a discussion of the diagnosis for a 15-year-old boy who was admitted for recurrent episodes of fever of unknown origin and had demonstrated silvery white hair, hepatosplenomegaly, and pancytopenia. Topics covered include the patient's medical history, a diagnosis of Griscelli syndrome (GS) based on physical and laboratory examinations, including skin biopsy and hair microscopy, and a discussion of GS, a rare immunodeficiency disorder, including its phenotypes.
