- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 13 year old boy who had a medical history of type 1 diabetes. It states that the patient used Detach infusion set, consisting of 29-gauge and steel needle, and mentions that when the patient was brought to the hospital for regular check-up, a slight elevation in the skin of the patient was observed. It states that the X-ray reports confirmed that a needle was present within the soft tissues, behind the mid-sacrum region.
