- Abstract
This article, published in the Journal of Cancer, examines the use of nebulization as a method of delivering drugs for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension in lung cancer patients. The study investigates the effectiveness of nebulizing the drugs iloprost, paclitaxel, and sotatercept using different nebulizers and cup designs. The results suggest that iloprost and sotatercept can be effectively administered as aerosols using various nebulization systems, while paclitaxel may not be suitable due to its larger droplet size and potential harm to the lungs. The study provides valuable insights into the optimal method of aerosol production for these drugs in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension. Additionally, the article includes references to other scientific articles related to pharmaceutical biotechnology and the treatment of lung cancer, covering topics such as adjuvant chemotherapy, aerosol chemotherapy, inhaled insulin, and tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
