The article reports on matrix models of the annual plant Aeschynomene Viginica and its conservation. It mentions the application of the models for analyzing rates of population growth in various environments as well as life table response experiments (LTRE) for determining the stages of life history. An overview of the competitive interactions, reproductive ecology and habitat requirements of the plant is also presented.
