- Abstract
The approach and the analysis of the impressions of the people involved in evaluation, in this case the university students, can be a valuable mean to redirect the quality of the process in order to improve it. With the aimed of getting into the perception of a students group that attended to the master of secondary education, training and teaching of languages, at the University of Vigo (Campus Ourense), it was raised a qualitative case study. The realized work intends to investigate the problems arising from the evaluation, the sensations that occur in university students, as well as the used tools or techniques. The study is part of the biographical-narrative research and was developed from the content analysis of 32 stories. The results and obtained conclusions show that university students present a conflicting feelings experience, overlapping the negative ones (nervousness) upon the positives. It is shown that before the exams people used an individual approach to study, in the case of the studied students, and training develops intensely in the days before. The exams are exclusive instruments used to qualify students in the university context, and alternative or complementary techniques are scarce.
