This paper investigates the empirical relationship between the liquidity and other performance measures of top performing manufacturing industries in India during the period 2000-2010. Multiple regression models were estimated with four liquidity measures as an independent variable and other measures like profitability, efficiency and leverage as independent variables. The study is conducted to know the liquidity position of the top performing manufacturing companies. The findings include 1) the most of the company's liquidity position is found to be low from current ratio and 2) The growth of the company in terms of current ratio is found only in seven companies. The analysis of liquidity, profitability and solvency ratio helps the company for its improvement. It also helps in the success of the company in the competitive world.
