- Abstract
The article discusses a study which found that implementation of an enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocol for pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) has had no significant impact on oncologic outcomes after the resection of pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Topics discussed include the lack of benefit when comparing the degree of compliance with ERAS metrics compliance groups and factors in the discordance between the results and those in the colorectal literature.
