- Abstract
An editorial is provided in which the authors discuss the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Children's Preparedness Unit's (CPU's) role in addressing children's needs in emergency public health management from 2009 through 2018. Emergencies that the CPU responded to, including the Flint, Michigan toxic drinking water crisis and hurricane responses, are discussed.
