- Authors
Durrani, Mukhtar Ali
- Abstract
The article focuses on the story and the tomb of Qazi Abdullah bin Tajo at the necropolis of Makli hill at Thatta, Pakistan. It cites Samma king Jam Nizam-ud-Din Nindo who was found to be the only person qualified to lead the funeral prayers for bin Tajo. The Samma dynasty has been given the credit for creating Makli as a holy place for worship, when Jam Tamachi ordered for the establishment of a mosque. The canopy tomb of bin Tajo is shown as one of the successful continuation of the glorious passed heritage.
