Abstract
The article explores the view of philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli on leadership in his book "The Prince." Topics mentioned include the difference between the concept of Machiavelli and Roman political theorist Marcus Tullius Cicero on political morality, correction and qualification to some mistaken and repeated tropes of the mythical Machiavelli, as well as recognition of Machiavelli as a high context writer.
