- Abstract
The article presents readers' responses to the question of whether the government is doing enough to tackle obesity in children in Great Britain. Sister Lorraine Jeffs cites the government's failure to persuade parents to take responsibility for their children's eating and exercise habits. Clinical nurse Mike Lehane believes that parents are accountable for their children's diets. Facilitator Carol Singleton says that it is time for schools to provide again sport as part of the curriculum.
