- Abstract
Human capital holds a primordial place in the national wealth of developed countries due to the change in its role from a constitutive element of cost to the main productive and social factor of economic growth. In the current research we want to put forward a system of indicators that would reflect the impact of education, professional development and health status on economic growth, with the following objectives: a critical study on the relationship human capital -- economic growth, through investigating the presence of human capital in models of economic growth, presented in their evolution in time, and the analysis of the correlation between human capital and economic growth, based on a system of macroeconomic indicators placed in the current economic context in our country.
