- Abstract
The article focuses on the challenges faced by prostitutes in the U.S and the need for prostitution reform. Topics discussed include harms arising from the continued criminalization of prostitution, a brief history of prostitution and alternatives to criminalization such as decriminalization, partial decriminalization, and legalization and the evolution of prostitution in human civilization. It also mentions the risks of sexually transmitted diseases in prostitutes and their treatment.
