- Abstract
The article discusses research done on a familial sclerosing bone dysplasia. Study subjects included two Lebanese adult sisters whose parents are first cousins. Procedures used in the study consisted of molecular studies and osteoclast function in vitro analysis. Bone x-rays conducted on both patients revealed the presence of hypertostosis of the cranial base and vault of the orbits, hyperostosis of the bones, thickening of the dital ulna and radius cortices, among other parts.
