- Abstract
The article reports on a study of bone strength in the femur and a finite element (FE) analysis of the risk for hip fracture in older men. The prospective, case-cohort analysis of 3549 individuals found that FE-based biomechanical analysis of quantitative computed tomography can assess the fracture risk and predict hip fractures.
