- Title
Hybrid nanomaterials: Not just a pretty flower.
- Authors
Zeng, Jie; Xia, Younan
- Abstract
The article presents information related to the production of hybrid nanoflowers. It states that nanoflowers are made of both organic materials as proteins and inorganic materials as copper (II) phosphate and immobilizing of enzymes on substrates is essential for biosensing and biocatalytic applications. It also mentions that when an enzyme is used as the protein component, the nanoflowers have shown enhanced catalytic activity, stability and durability.
