- Abstract
The article overviews the progress of women in achieving greater representation on the corporate boards of directors. It offers discussion on the efforts that could be taken to improve number of women in the workplace. It informs the increase in the percentage of women on corporate boards in the U.S. to 20 percent or greater. It explains the amendments that were made by the U.S. Securities and ExchangeCommission (SEC).
