- Abstract
First, both the duration from the diagnosis of psoriasis to the first angiographic diagnosis of CAD and the severity of psoriasis were not mentioned.[1] Indeed, previous studies have shown positive associations of the risk of CAD with the duration and severity (e.g. psoriatic arthritis) of psoriasis[2],[3] with no increase in risk of CAD among those with mild psoriasis.[4] Provision of relevant information would be useful for the readers in further understanding of the correlation between psoriasis and CAD severity. Correlation between Atherogenic index and the severity of coronary artery disease in diabetic patients undergoing elective coronary angiography using Gensini score. Recently, Hadi I et al i .[1] investigated the relationship between psoriasis and the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD) based on previous identification of psoriasis as a potential risk factor for CAD.[2],[3] Instead of discovering an aggravated CAD, they found less severe diseases among patients diagnosed with psoriasis than those without.[1] Nevertheless, several concerns remain for a more reliable interpretation of their findings.
