- Abstract
The article informs about positioning of five genes, CASK, ARX, SAT, IMAGE cDNAs 248928 and 253949 from the human X chromosome short arm with respect to evolutionary breakpoints on the mouse X Chromosome. Data from the mapping of over 100 loci on the human and mouse X Chromosomes have confirmed that X-linkage of genes is preserved in human and mouse. The article describes the positioning of five loci, three known genes and two homologs of human expressed-sequence-tagged clones, with respect to evolutionary breakpoints on the mouse X chromosomes.
