The author discusses several issues regarding cervical cancer prevention in India. Topics discussed include three separate randomized clinical trials funded by the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, leadership provided by the U.S. Office for Human Research Protections and the significance of the Delphi method developed at the research organization RAND Corp. during the Cold War to forecast the impact of technology on warfare.
