- Abstract
The article discusses several U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit insurance law cases which were decided between July 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011 and deal with damages from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The case of Stewart Enterprises Inc. v. RSUI Indemnity Co. deals with flood damage. The Bayle v. Allstate Insurance Co. case involves a claim of insufficient consideration. The case of Bradley v. Allstate Insurance Co. deals with an alleged contractual duty to pay additional damages.
