- Abstract
The article discusses the regulations of the U.S. government that regulates the roles of pregnancy centers in preventing deception. It describes the laws that require pregnancy centers to inform their clients that they do not provide birth control or abortion services, and reflects on the challenges raised by some local pregnancy centers against the U.S. First Amendment. It informs about the U.S. Stop Deceptive Advertising for Women's Services Act which prevents deceptive advertising.
