- Abstract
The article discusses the family Thyreocoridae of black bugs with 44 species in the U.S., the update for North Dakota and thyreocorid materials in the Insect Collection of the West Virginia Department of Agriculture (WVDA). Topics covered include 13 species of Hemiptera: Thyreocoridae in West Virginia including Corimelaena (C.) harti, C. obscura and Galgupha (G.) aterrima. Also mentioned are new state records of species including the Cormelaena agrella, C. pulicaria and G. denudata.
