- Abstract
The article discusses the regulations to be made for the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines to control the outcomes of the judicial discretion and the need of competing information for understanding the misleading guidelines. It mentions about the distortion of the true story in white-collar cases and the role of victims and defendants in offense affecting the district judges' sentencing determinations. It informs that the U.S. Sentencing Commission has never articulated the unjustified guidelines.
