- Abstract
This article presents a case of heavily calcified synovial sarcoma that caused chronic thigh pain and swelling. The imaging findings, including a cortical-based lesion on a pelvic radiograph and hypointense areas on MRI, suggested calcification/ossification. A biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of synovial sarcoma based on histopathological and immunohistochemical markers. The article emphasizes the importance of considering synovial sarcoma as a radiological possibility, even in cases with extensive calcifications. The authors declare no competing interests.
