- Abstract
The article presents a study on the application of QuickAssist program that uses natural language processing (NLP) technologies in reading German text. It states that the program allow learners to read and comprehend German language, while extending their vocabulary, learn the different uses of certain words, and explore German morphology. It suggests that QuickAssist was able to help learners with extensive reading and enable them to read texts with more than four percent of unknown words.
