- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 51-year-old woman with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who underwent a cemented total knee arthroplasty (TKA), exhibiting a red, round mass on the anterior aspect of her knee 20 years later. Computed tomography (CT) revealed tibial resorption associated with the granuloma. Plastic surgeons wrapped the skin defects with omental free-tissue transfer. The article discusses the use of omental free-tissue transfer following infected TKA with granuloma formation.
