- Authors
Bowen, Brian
- Abstract
The article offers information on the Southeast Exotic Pest Plant Council (SE-EPPC), a 650 member nonprofit organization based in the southeastern U.S. The organization emerged as a regional organization through efforts initiated by the Tennessee Exotic Pest Plant Council in 1990. The group focuses on all issues related to invasive exotic pest plants in natural areas. It has developed a web-based regional data-mapping project to improve early detection and rapid response, provide data for regional invasive plant assessments, and to give data that will help in updating the state invasive plant lists.
