- Abstract
There were significant differences in the luminescence between septic and non-septic effusions at both incubation times for filtered and unfiltered samples ( I P i = 0.011 filtered 5 m, I P i = 0.022 filtered 15 m, I P i =aaaa 0.009 unfiltered 5 m, I P i = 0.002 unfiltered 15 m). B Results b : Westies had significantly shorter R( I P i < 0.02) and K( I P i < 0.001) times, steeper angles I P i < 0.001), and higher MA ( I P i = 0.03) and G( I P i = 0.03) than Labradors. Change was not significant for Na SP + sp [-1.40 (-7.0-3.0); I P i =0.328), K SP + sp (-0.829±1.801; I P i =0.234), Cl SP - sp (-5.29±6.499; I P i =0.074), I P i =0.6875)], Glucose (-2.57±145.4; I P i =0.9642). Moreover, non-survivors were significantly more often treated with acepromazine (9/10 vs 12/31, I P i = 0.009), more often classified >= III upon admission (5/10 vs 1/32, I P i = 0.002), and more frequently developed respiratory complications (8/9 vs 1/29, I P i < 0.001) or hyperthermia (8/9 vs 7/23, I P i = 0.005).
