- Abstract
The article discusses a legislative updates for Luxembourg regarding radiological protection. Provisions involving transport of radioactive materials, and rules on radiological emergencies were added to the Grand-ducal Regulations of 2000 with respect to the Grand-ducal Regulations of July 21, 2006 Protection of the Public Against Risks caused by Ionising Radiation. Also noted is the law adopted on April 27, 2006, reinforcing an agreement between Luxembourg and Belgium to ensure a mutual exchange of information in the event of an incident or accident.
