- Abstract
The article focuses on lipodystrophy is a group of rare disorders has characterized by generalized or partial loss of adipose tissue. Topics include the diabetes secondary to lipodystrophy being hardly responsive to standard treatment modalities and may lead to microvascular, the diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) being a chronic complication of diabetes and a leading cause of lowerlimb loss due to amputations, and the DFUs being an important cause of diabetes-related mortality.
