The authors reflect on European conservation practices, as well as various conservation approaches across the globe. Particular focus is given to Europe's unique approach to conservation, as conservation management at Bradfield Woods in Great Britain. Topics discussed include impact of humans on the European landscape, relationship between nature and human culture, and the trajectories of conservation in the U.S. and Europe.
