- Authors
Peh, Kelvin S.‐H.; Schrodt, Franziska
- Abstract
The article reflects on the European debt crisis in 2008 to global climate change that has little bearing on the broader world's equal efforts to achieve environmental stability. It notes several economists and scientists have identified the excessive government debts as a key factor that would lead to financial crisis. It states that environmental crises and the euro are essentially commercial actors and governments that either by design or default failed to exercise power.
