- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 41-year-old Japanese male with microhematuria and proteinura for 10 years referred for evaluation. His abdominal ultrasonography shows compression of the left renal vein between the aorta and the superior mesenteric artery. Kidney biopsy was performed for glomerular hematuria evaluation. The article discusses nutcracker phenomenon when evaluating a patient with glomerular hematuria.
