The article presents a case study of a 32-year-old woman, was referred to our prenatal diagnosis unit at 18 weeks' gestation after first-trimester screening for fetal aneuploidy had indicated a risk of Down syndrome. An ultrasound examination revealed bilateral equinovarus deformity, short femurs, fetal hydrops and persistent retroflexion of the fetal head.
