- Abstract
The article reports on the result of the survey which appraised the most common reasons on the retirement of engineering and technical workers,assisted by the Employment Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). The result reveals that most common reasons for retirement were having sufficient wealth to live on, low job satisfaction, and the desire for more time and health issues. It also claims that over six in ten respondents will reconsider if they were asked to stay for another two years.
