- Title
CONTEMPORARY FRENCH FILM AND TEACHING FRENCH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE.
- Authors
Radusin-Bardić, Nataša
- Abstract
The modern French films, as forms of authentic documents used in the communicative methods, can enrich the teaching of the French as a foreign language. They are distinct from educational films by the fact that they have the artistic quality and contribute to the enrichment of the general culture while showing the actual language of native speakers. The appropriate choice of film scenes (which depends on the educational purpose, the age and the knowledge level of the students) can show the richness of language registers that should be well adapted to the conditions of the speech act.
