- Abstract
The article examines food and beverage marketing to children which is being regulated by the Children's Food and Beverage Advertising Initiative (CFBAI) in the U.S. It references a study which analyzes children's experience of television commercials from McDonald's and Burger King. It also suggests that the federal government should remove tax write-offs, parents limit television time and researchers continue independent study on misleading market approaches and self-regulation.
