The article discusses the adverse affects of the use of tobacco and secondhand smoke (SHS) exposure in reproductive-aged women. It mentions that tobacco and SHS can cause several adverse reproductive health outcomes such as pregnancy complications, fetal growth restriction and infant death. The study reveals that smoking prevalence was significantly higher among women who are living in the urban areas in Mexico, Poland and Russia.
