- Abstract
The article focuses on the five pillars of electronic discovery or e-discovery which can be used by lawyers in their decision-making process during litigation. It mentions that the five pillars include the obligation of meet and confer presented in Rule 26 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, and the search and retrieval of relevant files. Furthermore, the need for an agreement on the use of electronically stored information (ESI) in databases is discussed.
