- Authors
Wood, David W.
- Abstract
The article explores the theoretical framework of the system of philosophy of German philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte for situating and interpreting intuition as well as the axiomatic first principles and construction of such system. It discusses the relationship between intellectual and mathematical intuition of which the latter was classified by Fichte as a mode of intelligible intuition. The author also provides an outline of the four main modes of construction in the Fichtean system.
