- Abstract
The article focuses on the thesis that discusses the analysis and composition of music in 20th century through Golden Section phenomenon and Fibonacci sequence. It states that interest on Golden Ratio in the analysis and composition of music was started by Emil Naumann wherein he argues that the sonata forms of Ludwig van Beethoven reflects the Golden Ratio. It argues that use of the phenomenon and sequence was particularly present in composition that do not conform to traditional laws of tonality. It mentions that 21st century composers could use the Golden Ration phenomenon and Fibonacci sequence for their compositions.
