- Abstract
The article discusses the court case "Baze V. Rees, in which the court upheld the constitutionality of lethal injection. It is stated that in the Baze case, the court discussed whether lethal injection as a method of execution is unconstitutional under the Eighth Amendment. It is noted that petitioners Ralph Baze and Thomas Bowling tell that improper method of injecting could result in infliction of pain during their executions. It is stated that the Court analyzed the case of Baze and found that Kentucky's execution method satisfied the Eighth Amendment.
