- Abstract
This article discusses a rare case of chronic suppurative osteomyelitis, an inflammatory bone condition, that occurred after a patient underwent endodontic treatment and extraction of a mandibular third molar. The patient experienced symptoms such as swelling, limited mouth opening, pain, and purulent secretion. The treatment involved surgical debridement, antibiotic therapy, and hyperbaric therapy, which resulted in the remission of signs and symptoms. The article emphasizes the importance of correct diagnosis, treatment, and patient adherence for a successful outcome.
