- Abstract
The article discusses the experiment results on the improvement of planning computerized tomography (CT) and set-up cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT) images for better image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) using stationary wavelet transforms (SWT). Topics discussed include the reference to the geometric features-based as well as grayscale-based image registration methods, the translationally invariant features of SWT and edge features resolution enhancements with the algorithms.
