- Abstract
In this study, the internal friction (IF) in the interval of 20-600 °C and the amplitude of oscillatory deformation are investigated in PbTe and PbTe: Cr crystals in the processes of torsion oscillation within the frequency ∼1 Hz. In the temperature spectrum of IF in PbTe, relaxational maximums are observed in the diapasone of 230-400° C. Corresponding processes of energy scattering of oscillation are characterized by values of energy activation 1,23 and 1,68 eV and frequency factor 6.5.1013 and 8,8.1013 s-1. Relaxational processes in IF are analyzed on the basis of admission of different slip planes of dislocation. The doping by chromium results in the creation of additional barriers at oscillation of dislocation and the increase of forces of cohesion within the nuclei of the dislocations. The latter significantly influences on the increase of shear modulus.
