- Abstract
The article discusses the two important options for investors, which are the passive and enhanced index funds. The authors claim that Vanguard is the largest provider of passive indexed funds, and DFA is one of the major providers of enhanced indexed fund, which is connected to academic financial research and an illustrious board of directors. It also says that Vanguard's low fees and investors can directly buy Vanguard funds. Meanwhile, they also claim that DFA's fees are higher and one can invest in DFA funds through an advisor who charges for the service.
